Meet the Partners: Friends of Dagnam Park

Friends of Dagnam Park support the Harold Hill Festival through being part of the committee organising the event, volunteering on the day, taking photographs of the event and this year will be exhibiting images of Harold Hill through the years.

The Friends of Dagnam Park meet on a regular basis and alongside their campaign meetings they also organise indoor and outdoor talks and activities. Their website includes a useful guide to the park, a brief history and images of it past and present.

They have already been successful in our campaign to have the park declared a Local Nature Reserve, and the campaign to include within the park the surrounding “set aside” farmland that is owned by the council has been successful.

The Friends have their AGM on Wednesday 13th February at myplace 7.30pm where a guest speaker Sivi (from Froglife) has confirmed will come and give the group a talk. She has invited group members who are interested to attend a training course in Redbridge relating to the ponds in the Manor.
